Pam Robinson is the proud mother of a son named Chris, a daughter-in-law Cassy, and a daughter named April who passed 9 years ago. Pam considers her children a blessing from God. She is grateful to God, and she knows had it not been for Him she would never have endured the loss of her daughter. Pam credits God for putting loving and caring people in her life to help her through this difficult time. She desires to give back to God and to minister to others in their time of need. Pam's favorite bible passage is 1Corinthians 13:4-5 Love is patient and kind, love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude.

Helen Baylor is a former educator and currently works as an office volunteer at First Presbyterian Church of Kingsport where she has been a member for fifteen years. She is also serving as deacon assigned to ten families. She has been a longtime volunteer at the Presbyterian Clothes Closet which distributes gently used clothing weekly to the Kingsport community at no cost, along with new shoes at the start of each school year.
Among other things, she enjoys reading, walking, watching movies, and traveling with good friends. She is pleased to be involved with the Oasis, joining other members of strong faith who are dedicated to compassionately providing for and supporting women in this area.

She loves to cook, listen to music, watch the Hallmark movies and spend time with family and friends. Denise has a favorite bible verse which is Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” It reminds her that God has a perfect plan for her and her future. She is excited to see what part The Oasis will play in that plan.
Missy Quillen is married with 2 children. She started volunteering at The Oasis in August of 2015 at a low time in her life. She realized that she needed to get out, be with people and try to be a help. On her first day, she felt such a special connection between everyone, no matter their different walks. Missy came expecting to help the ladies, but was helped and blessed in turn.
She has no doubt that God lead her to the Oasis. Missy is excited to be on the board, and will also continue to volunteer. Missy would like each Oasis guest to learn this for their own life. No matter what we have done, or come from, God is there for us. One of her favorite bible verses is Isaiah 41:10--Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
